Tips on Selecting Child Care

Choosing the right child care for your family is important. These checklists include important questions to ask when looking for care and items to look for in the environment in which care is provided.

The cost of care varies depending on the type of care, the age of the child, the number of hours needing care and the individual child care program.

To assist families estimate what they can expect to pay for child care, ECCBC created an average cost of care report in Boulder County.  This report is based on a survey of child care providers’ rates in Boulder County and is updated annually.
