Become a Licensed Family Child Care Provider
Is working with children your calling? Do you like to help parents of young children? Would you like to start a small business and earn an income while staying at home with your own children? Are you ready to make a commitment to provide the high quality child care that is critical to a child’s growth and development? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Boulder County’s children and families need you!
Pre-licensing training is required by the Colorado Office of Early Childhood for people who wish to obtain a family child care license.
CCR&R at the Council and the Boulder County Child Care Assistance Program are sponsoring a state approved Pre-licensing training series for individuals who are interested in becoming licensed as a Family Child Care Provider in Boulder County. The following required training will be included in the series: 15 hours of Pre-licensing and 6 hours of Professional Development training will be provided during an Orientation and Graduation/Wrap up. You must attend all sessions to receive completion certificates.
Preregistration is required. Priority given to residents of Boulder County. There is no cost for Boulder County residents; $75 for non-residents.
